Eco Tour Packing Checklist
This list covers everything from warm weather to potential adverse conditions.
- Casual Clothes & Personal Items- For nights spent at lodges
- Day Pack- Large enough to fit all your gear inside.
- Hiking Boots- A good pair of running shoes will suffice.
- Base Layers- A lightweight thermal underwear top and bottom.
- Insulation- Light fleece jacket and/or light fleece vest
- Upper Shell- Windproof, waterproof, parka or jacket large enough to allow
layering underneath.
- Lower Shell- Windproof, waterproof, highly-breathable pants large enough
to allow layering underneath.
- Hiking Socks & Liners- Bring enough for the entire tour.
- Quick-drying Hiking Shorts- Wear over the thermal underwear in cool weather.
- Thin Fleece Gloves- For adverse weather conditions.
- Snacks- Optional, but always a good idea to pack some snacks for the hike.
- Camera- Optional.
- Sunglasses- Optional, but useful on sunny days.
- Water Bottle- Bring something that can store water as you make your daily hikes.
- Sunscreen- Protection from those sunny days.
